Ethiopia Kerchanshe 12 oz

Process: Washed
Altitude: 1850 meters
Varietal: Heirloom
Tasting Notes: Peach, Strawberry, Lemon

We are always excited to bring on fresh harvest Ethiopians to our menu - floral, lush and fruity! This community lot is processed at the Kerchanshe Washing Station in sub-city Uraga, located in the Guji Zone, within the Oromia Region.

Each lot is carefully monitored for density, moisture and water activity, and is often tracked at the farm, washing station and mill, again with the importer and finally by us. We sometimes see a slight variance in data points mostly due to using different brands and styles of instruments to collect this data. However, once the coffee has arrived to us we check the quality regularly, and double up with our weekly production cuppings for a tasting assessment and keep rigorous notes.

Speaking of coffee quality assurance, it's been a subject we've been excited to share more about on Instagram. Check out @Propellercoffeeco for more on our quality assessments and search #beanlifeseries #greenbeanseries to get a digital look in to what we've up to in the roastery!
